（中央社記者黃巧雯台北 1日電）台灣申請加入亞投行，經濟部次長卓士昭今天表示，除了能增加台灣的國際能見度、瞭解台灣可扮演重要角色外，還有助於台灣參與區域整合。
台灣昨天趕在截止日前，正式提出加入亞洲基礎設施投資銀行（AIIB）申請意向書，除了透過大陸國台辦把信函交給亞投行臨時多邊秘書處，同時也由財政部傳給亞投行。
卓士昭今天出席全球採購夥伴大會受訪時指出，若能夠加入亞投行，除了可從亞投行得到第一手商機資訊外，由於亞投行是國際組織，「對於與所有亞投行會員互動也會有很好基礎」，在良好互動基礎下，有助台灣加入區域整合。
